Application & Interview Tips

Applying for a new job is a life changing event and as an employer, we recognize the stress that can accompagny this decision. Accepting a new job requires a leap of faith and your decision will probably be based more on feeling about us as a Company and the workling environment that we can provide.

We take great care in our hiring process to select those rare diamonds who will support us on our journey to develop innovative and inspiring programs that will improve the lives of patients. Here are a few helpful tips to enable to navigate our hiring process and make an informed decision about your career.

  1. Before you apply, take some time to learn more about us either through our website or LinkedIn page or even read our recent publications should you be scientifically-minded. All our collaborators are fully aligned with our core values and purpose so if needed, speak to us.

  2. We have diverse career opportunities. Take the time to find the one that truly inspires you. Our available jobs change regularly so if you don't see the right role straight away, we recommend that you join our community and follow us on social media.

  3. When applying, be thoughful about the position that you would like to be considered for and make sure that its not only the one that inspires you, but one that you are qualified for and could be successful in. As you read through the job advert, take note of the main competencies that are required for the role and make sure these are represented on your CV/resume. Make sure that all your main selling points are included. Think about the person reading your CV and what would convince them you are the right fit for the role. Consider keywords that might be used across the industry and try to avoid internal or uncommon acronyms. Once you have completed your application, you will get an email confirming your application has been received. Our recruitment team will review and get back to you as quickly as possible. The timing can vary dependent on the number of applications we receive for each role and some cases we start to review applications only after the vacancy closing date.

  4. If chosen to go through to the interview phase, you will be contacted by our HR Director with the details of the interview. As a company we believe in assessing people using a fair, consistent, structured interview process based on the competencies required for the role as well as overall fit for our culture. Whilst we will ask a lot of questions, the interview process is a two-way process and you should also be assessing us to see if we can offer you the role, environment and development opportunities you are looking for.
